Sunday, February 24, 2008 [Spectacular Saturday]
My day started with a so-called stiff neck. This is a usual thing for me. I often wake up with an aching neck but after a few minutes, the pain relieves. Moreover, I'm looking forward to the second season of Astigs. I thought that the new season is connected with the first, but I was wrong. Well, the pilot episode is 101% better than the first season's. I loved the new tandem of Enchong and Megan. Their tandem gave me chills through my bones. Such a great couple.

After eating lunch, I continued what I was doing since yesterday - making reviewers for our Mastery Test schedule on Monday. I was busy for hours writing novel-like reviewers but it's okay cause it helps me to remember things I used to forget. I stopped at around 4:15 PM to rest and regain energy. I stepped out of the room and found out that my other family members are going to a restaurant to eat with two of my grandparents who were very close to me when I was still a kid.

We landed at Hap Chan Restaurant at Sucat, ParaƱaque to eat. While waiting for the food, my grandmother reminisced my childhood days with her. She asked me if I eat veggies, my aunt replied that I only eat string beans. She remembered a thing I've always done when I was a kid (I can't remember that I've done that before) - I call her through the phone just to tell her that I ate string beans! She told me that when I was a kid, she always tells me to eat veggies. Too bad I can't remember that. But at least, I already know that through word of mouth.

By the way, I didn't enjoy the food. I was very vocal telling my aunt who will pay for the foods we ate that I didn't like it. I even compared the lechon I ate there with the lechon an eatery sells near Perpetual. It's 201% better and more tongue-friendly. When we left the restaurant, I noticed a girl sitting on the other table. It's Doris Bigornia, a former ABS-CBN reporter who was always compared with GMA reporter Susan Enriquez. My aunt also noticed her too but wasn't sure with her identity.

Before we went home, my aunt wanted to have dessert. She wants ice cream and decided to eat at Icebergs. Wow! I've been craving to eat there since the day I first ate there with the Icebergs team! My dad told her that it can be found in Alabang Town Center so we went there. Disappointed, there is no Icebergs at ATC. My world crashed. I want to taste their Ribeye Tapsilog. We just had dessert at Ice Monster. I ordered Mudslide something - it's a mixture of different variations of chocolates. Wow! It's so delicious and mouth-watery. I loved it.

Time came to bid farewell to my grandparents as we left them in their house. Fortunately, we had a chance to take a glance in their garden which has been a topic of their talk. Their garden is awesome, wonderful, extravagant, great! Such a flowery and clean garden except for the frogs and toads skipping all over the paradise. So far, it's the garden I appreciated the most since I am not really attached to nature. I loved it. I wish our garden was similar to theirs.
