Hola! In less than an hour, 2008 bids farewell and welcomes 2009! So what keeps me busy these past few days. Let me wrap-up:

To continue my listomaniacness, I'll write my New Year Resolutions.
01. Eat less. Limit up to one-and-a-half cup of rice. Eat veggies. Avoid fatty, oily and cholesterol-filled foods.
02. Be a chart geek. Be more listomaniac. Tally my LSS for the day, tabulate them and come up with a weekly and yearly list.
03. Study harder. Study more! Study more! Or at least maintain the level.
04. Be a good son. Haha. I often argue with my parents. I often mimic my mom, she's acting like a kid and I love imitating her. LOL.
05. Be thrifty! I love the feeling of having lotsa money!
I wanted to add to exercise but I know I can't do that. LOL.

Last Saturday, together with my highschool classmates, we watched the Ang Tanging Ina Ninyong Lahat at SM Sta. Rosa. 'Twas fun. The movie was hilarious and being reunited with my beloved friends is heartwarming and endearing.
A while ago, the highly anticipated Icebergs Reunion took place. We exchanged gifts, gossips and stories. Though almost every week we see each other, we missed each other badly. Drama. Haha. :)

Monday, December 22, 2008 [Black Christmas]
I guess this year's Christmas will be the saddest. Of course, we're not complete anymore. Five members of our family already migrated to NZ. Christmas won't be the same without them. :(
During Christmas, my grandma prepares everything (of course with the help of the other family members, but of course, she leads). Now she's in NZ, and my mom and my aunt has no plans of preparing any food for Noche Buena. Ang balak nila, gumala on 25 tapos magbaon ng food. So ang mangyayari, walang Noche Buena. I expressed my disappointment to my dad, sabi ko, kahit spaghetti man lang maghanda. Ayun, tinotoo nga ng tatay ko, spaghetti lang ang handa. Toinks. Anyways, at least meron.
Parang ordinary day lang ang Christmas 2008. Nothing special, nothing extraordinary. Mas special pa ang mga gala ko. :(

As I've said, I need to go to Makati today to fix my CS140L Portfolio. The schedule is between 1 to 5 PM. I left home at 10 because there's a rally against Cha Cha in Makati. Dang! It was traffic. Mula Alabang hanggang Makati, traffic. I arrived at 12:15. My professor was outside the entrance. She talked to me and said "di na tayo tuloy ngayon"! Aaarrgghh! Pero ok lang, that's not the only purpose of going to Makati. I also planned to go to Glorietta to buy gifts. So yun, nahirapan ako. Ang hirap regaluhan ng babae. Tumingin kami ng bags but it seems that na di matitipuhan ng pagbibigyan ko. So yun, nauwi sa damit na original plan kong bilhin. Thanks to Kate and Jerica, may official tagasukat ng damit. Haha. Di ko kasi alam kung anong size ng pagbibigyan ko eh.

As I've said, vacation started last Tuesday afternoon. Siyempre, may hangover pa ko sa school so pagdating ko sa bahay, nag-internet lang ako hanggang gabi.
Yesterday, first vacation day na wala talagang pasok. As usual, tulog mantika. That's one thing I missed na hindi ko magagawa kung hindi bakasyon. Same old routine, gising ng 10:30 AM. Tapos I started surfing the net until afternoon. Boring! That's what I'm going to say. Nauubusan ako ng site na mavivisit. Every hour ko chineck ang Friendster at Multiply ko. Ayun, tumigil ako ng hapon. I was about to surf the net again by 6 o'clock pero nakita ko yung post ng friend ko about sa mga thoughts ni Bob Ong. Naalala ko, I was planning to read his books kasi he's very sensible yet funny. Ang gandang kombinasyon so I hurried to my aunt's bookshelf and took Bob Ong's first two books, "ABNKKBSNPLAKo?!" and "Bakit Baliktad Magbasa Ng Libro Ang Mga Pilipino?". Ayun, I enjoyed reading them naman.
Yung ABNKKBSNPLAKo?!, kaunti lang binasa ko kasi nabasa ko na naman 'yun. Tapos yung Bakit Baliktad Magbasa Ng Libro Ang Mga Pilipino?, medyo pili lang yung binasa ko. Yung interesting parts lang kasi yung iba, di ako interesado especially yung mga essays. Nakakatuwa, kasi totoo talaga yung mga sinsabi niyo though some of his writings were satiric. Kaya siguro ako nakaka-relate. Haha. May mga forwarded text jokes din pala na sa kanya nagmula. Sa book niya pala galing yung joke ng drama sa radyo. Nakakaasar kasi di man lang siya kinredit.
Oh well, ang haba na ah. I missed blogging so much. Aside from sleeping, this is also one thing na namiss ko during Second Term.

Vacation started last Tuesday afternoon. That's what I thought. I need to go to school tomorrow to fix my portfolio for CS140L.
I am paranoid this week. I'm afraid of hemorrhagic pancreatitis or in layman's term, bangugot AKA nightmare. I'm afraid to die. Of course, everyone's afraid of dying. But I hear a lot of news regarding deaths due to this unexpected killer. Scary and creepy..
Three days to go before the online viewing of grades, I'm nervous. Sana scholar ulit. Malaki ding tulong sa tatay ko yun. Tsaka karangalan yun. Haha. Sabi nga ni Mang Rudy, "ang karangalan ay di mabibiley ng pira at gintu".
I'm still undecided whether I'll choose the M-F or T-S sked. All my friends are going to choose the T-S but I hate Saturdays. Gimik day yun noh. Icebergs reunion madalas. :(

I'm Scared!!
When will be the perfect time? The Icebergs team decided to have a Christmas Party-slash-Reunion but there's a conflict. CJ's dad just arrived from Brunei last Friday for Christmas so I presume that they'll spend the days together. Moreover, Jasper's mom arrived too from Saudi. To tell you, his mom is so strict that she'll never allow his so-called young son to cross the road or buy something in the store. So pathetic. So I presume that he can't go with us. That's it, when can we find a perfect time to spend Christmas together? Sad. :(
